BACA is thrilled to announce the 7th edition of the Contemporary Native Art Biennial, a multi-venue exhibition that explores the deep-rooted theme of Creation Stories through the eyes of a talented collective of four curators.

Territoire/Médicines will be the theme addressed at the Musée des beaux-arts de Sherbrooke by artists Eruoma Awashish, Haley Bassett, Lisa Maude Aubin Bérubé, Jay Havens, Cheyenne Rain LeGrande and Jesse Tungilik.

LOUIS-PIERRE BOUGIE. HUMAN NATURE AND THE ARTISTS OF THE ATELIERS DUFFERIN

TEMPORARY EXHIBITION
May 16 to September 1, 2024.

This exhibition pays tribute to the career and the sensitive, dramatic world of the late printmaker and painter, Louis-Pierre Bougie (1946-2021). It showcases more than 40 artworks, several of which have never been shown in public.

Learn more about the various techniques used in printmaking – from aquatint to etching – demonstrated by members of Les Ateliers Dufferin, Sherbrooke’s creative centre for professional artists.
