On November 7, 2024, wear an eye-catching hat and come to the most fun event of the fall!
The Musée des beaux-arts de Sherbrooke (MBAS) is inviting you to join us on Thursday, November 7, 2024 from 5 pm to 8 pm, for the 15th edition of “Martini au Musée” (“Martini at the Museum”), presented by American Biltrite.
Themed around « Chapeau à nos artistes » (“Hats off to our artists”), this lively evening will celebrate the work of local artists and the prominent role that Sherbrooke’s Museum of Fine Arts has played in promoting the Eastern Townships’ vibrant art scene. As in previous years, we’re encouraging you to wear your most colorful, outrageous hats!
The event kicks kicks off at 5:00 p.m. in the stunning J-Armand Bombardier Foundation Room at the MBAS. It includes:
- Refined cocktails blended by mixologist Pierre Fournier with products courtesy of Magog’s Cherry River Distillery.
- Cocktail dinner with savoury appetizers, catered by Le Bouchon.
- Music by DJ Carolane Arsenault who will create a party ambience.
- Silent auction, live painting by artist Nicolas Lareau, raffles and much more!
The funds raised during “Martini at the Museum” will go towards the cost of organizing exhibitions, maintaining the art collection and the educational activities offered both onsite and throughout the region. Those key aspects of the MBAS’s mission allow schoolchildren, families, community groups and the general public to learn more about the arts and culture. The Museum attracts thousands of visitors every year, who discover – some for the first time – the richness of Quebec and Canada’s artistic heritage.
Tickets start at $125.

A tax receipt of $90 or more will be issued, depending on the option chosen. All donors who generously upgrade their donations will be warmly thanked during the evening.
