Soirée soif d’expression

3rd Thursday of the month from 5:00 to 7:00 pm
Let your creativity flow!

For the fifth consecutive year, the Soirée soif d’expression is back at the Musée des beaux-arts de Sherbrooke!
Aperitifs, wine and cheese from the Fromagerie de la Gare are served during this creative activity, ideal for relaxing, chatting and socializing while admiring a large-format work of art that has been brought out of our reserves for the occasion. A variety of musical atmospheres, ranging from electro-jazz, classical, franco-pop to lo-fi, will enliven the activity during the 9 evenings proposed in the calendar. 9 evenings, from October 2022 to July 2023.

Aimed at adults of all levels, the Thirst for Expression Evening is a great opportunity to get up close and personal with a unique work from the collection while using your creativity to create your own masterpiece. No experience in acrylic painting is necessary. All art supplies are provided for all participants (canvas, brushes, paint and apron). Participants will leave with their completed work.

PROCEDURE
Opening of the Museum doors at 5:00 pm. Presentation of the work at 5:30 pm precisely.
A mediator will reveal information about the work and will launch the creative challenge that will inspire the artistic expression session. Then it’s time to create! Originality is encouraged. The objective is not to emulate or reproduce the work presented but to be inspired by it. The evening ends at 7:30 pm.

Rates: $50 non-member / $35 member (taxes included)
Duration: 2 hours
Maximum 12 people

Reservations are required, places are limited.
