31,510 raised during the 13th edition of the Martini at the Museum!

After a pandemic break of 2 years, the Martini at the Museum fundraising event was back at the Musée des beaux-arts de Sherbrooke this year with the theme “Hats off to our creators”. The event took place in a very festive atmosphere with more than a hundred guests who had brought out their most flamboyant headgear for the occasion! The honorary co-presidents, Adèle Blais, painter/collagist and Sherbrooke businessman Jean-René Bélanger (Imeka), set the tone for the party.

“We are truly delighted with the level of participation from the business and cultural communities in this 13th edition of this important fundraising event for the Sherbrooke Museum of Fine Arts. The money raised will allow us to carry out quality mediation activities and new exhibitions,” said Jean-Christophe Racette, interim director of the Musée des beaux-arts de Sherbrooke, who was visibly grateful and very satisfied with the evening’s results.

This 13th edition was a presentation of the American Biltrite company. The benefit event will undoubtedly return in the fall of 2023, the year the Musée des beaux-arts de Sherbrooke celebrates its 40th anniversary!
