CREATIVE ACTIVITY “EXPLORATION OF COLLECTIONS”

EVERY SATURDAY FROM 10:30 AM TO NOON.

Let your creativity flow!

Beginning with an educational component, the activity begins with a commented observation of a representation of a work from the collection in the educational workshop with a mediator. The group is then invited to explore a technique related to the fine arts or the artistic process in relation to the work presented.

This series of playful workshops is an opportunity to learn about different mediums and materials such as clay, blood chalk, watercolour, embossed metal or faux stained glass, while having fun with original creative challenges, such as making a handmade ornament or a small animal sculpture! At the end of the workshop, participants keep their creations and can continue their visit to the Museum’s exhibitions.

A snack and beverage are provided during the activity.
Art supplies provided, colorful aprons on loan.

Fee: Activity included in the price of admission / free for members
Public: Intended for the family public, a target age is suggested but the workshop is open to all! Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Duration: 90 minutes (plan to arrive 5 minutes before the beginning of the workshop)

Reservation recommended: 819 821.2115 or accueil@mbas.qc.ca
