Creation Stories – The Biennale d’art contemporain autochtone (BACA)

TEMPORARY EXHIBITION
May 16 to September 1, 2024.

BACA is thrilled to announce the 7th edition of the Contemporary Native Art Biennial, a multi-venue exhibition that explores the deep-rooted theme of Creation Stories through the eyes of a talented collective of four curators.

The exhibition will display works of approximately sixty artists, creating a unique and thought-provoking experience for art lovers.

 

Louis-Pierre Bougie, Master printmaker / In conjunction with Ateliers Dufferin

TEMPORARY EXHIBITION

This exhibition pays tribute to the career and the sensitive, dramatic world of the late printmaker and painter, Louis-Pierre Bougie (1946-2021). It showcases more than 40 artworks, several of which have never been shown in public.

Learn more about the various techniques used in printmaking – from aquatint to etching – demonstrated by members of Les Ateliers Dufferin, Sherbrooke’s creative centre for professional artists.
